Decency is a necessity, a basic tool/skill, in a civil society that hopes to advance democratic ideals. Polite, moral, and honest behavior is predicated on treating others with respect, empathy, and kindness.

Thinking developmentally is crucial for the care of children in the 21st century and beyond. We now have excellent science that can guide us to help build healthy children, nurturing families and communities that care.
The applicability of The Belmont Report: For Us and Immigrants
The Belmont Report can be applied beyond the research arena. In my opinion, respect for persons, beneficence and justice are required for all interactions.
